We’re still waiting to hear specifics on the upcoming season of FX’s ‘American Horror Story’ but may have learned when and where it will take place thanks to a new rumor! Much of what we know so far seems based on rumors of Twentieth Century Fox registering the trademark for ‘American Horror Story: Radioactive‘ hinting at the name of the upcoming season involving a nuclear fallout. Creator Ryan Murphy has shared a few solid details, though, and one of them is that the plot will be set in the near future. Now we might know how far into the future it could actually be.
Unlike Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ which used time travel to throw us two generations down the line after the Earth was destroyed, we’ll be potentially jumping to 2032 with a story that takes place in Arizona. If this is true, we’ll be checking out the aftermath of our society after either a nuclear blast or an all-out nuclear war.
While we know that Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Kathy Bates are set to star, this rumor also lumps actors Dylan McDermott, Denis O’Hare, Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jackson, Leslie Grossman, and Eddie Cibran into the mix. It isn’t clear who any of the actors, including the three leads will be playing at this time. However, if true we’ve also learned that “The season is centered around a group of survivors who went unaffected by it.”
The rumor comes from someone who says that their husband is working on the show. Again, none of this has been confirmed at this time, but it doesn’t seem to go against what we’ve learned to date.
Do you think that we’ll be watching ‘American Horror Story: Radioactive’ this Fall? Would these early details suggest a show that you’d be wanting to check out? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
