The latest clip that showcases the return of ‘The Walking Dead’ for the second half of the eighth season has a focus on the amazingly strong women in the show. We’re warned that “beating the Saviors doesn’t guarantee survival” and get to see all of the women who are working against Negan moving forward.

As you saw, there’s a shot of Enid trying to convince the Oceanside survivors to take up arms with Alexandria. This isn’t going to be an easy sell after she killed Natania but as she says “The Saviors are coming and they will wipe you out.” It’ll be heartbreaking when she learns the fate of Carl when the series returns.
I think I’m most excited to see what Maggie does with the Hilltop going forward though not much is shared here. We do see Rosita taking down walkers in the swamp, Tara looking to take down Dwight even though he insists that he’s on their side, and of course, Michonne looking like she’s reeling from the death of Carl.
Fan-favorite Carol though is ready to have all of the Saviours “look at the flowers” as she and Morgan are looking to save King Ezekiel. We also see her picking up help from the Kingdom as the trailer continues.
I don’t think a single of these women would give Negan a second chance if they got their hands on him. It’ll be interesting to see if anyone can convince them that they should lock up the villain instead of taking his life when this story arc comes to a close.
