Black Panther

For those who have been dying for a better look at ‘Black Panther‘ then you’re in luck as a huge pile of new images from Marvel Studios journey into Wakanda have found their way online! We’ve got heroes, villains, and even a government agent making an appearance here and each of the shots looks visually stunning. These come courtesy of Entertainment Weekly‘s Comic-Con double issue.

First up we have a shot of Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa in full on Black Panther costume right after he has taken down a group trying to sneak into Wakanda to steal Vibranium.

This next shot is a close-up of Michael B. Jordan who is playing Erik Killmonger who wants to try and take the throne from T’Challa. When asked about the scars on his chest, executive producer Nate Moore states that “That is a story reveal that we’d like to preserve” so it will clearly factor into the story.

Next up is a shot of The Dora Milaje who are both Black Panther’s personal body guards and personal army. Danai Gurira’s Okoye leads this group and is up first with Lupita Nyong’o’s Nakia in the center who works as a secret agent around the world, and rounding out the group is Florence Kasumba’s Ayo who is the personal guard of T’Challa.

Here we see Forest Whitaker in full costume as Zuri who was T’Challa’s father’s closest adviser and still helps serve the new King.

Another shot of Nakia here also has Letitia Wright playing T’Challa’s sister Shuri and their mother Ramonda who is played by Angela Bassett. The trio are joined by Martin Freeman’s Everett Ross who we’ve previously seen in ‘Captain America: Civil War’.

Ross isn’t the only returning character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we’ll also see Andy Serkis revising his role as Klaue from ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. Of his part in the movie the actor says that “As long as he can amass fortune and cause disruption in the world at the same time, I think he’s a happy man.”
