Miltos Yerolemou reveals The Flash villain

While not cast in the role, Miltos Yerolemou was up for the villain in the fourth season of ‘The Flash‘ and by describing the character, he may have just revealed who it was!

The comment was made at a spotlight panel from Nashville’s Con of Thrones, and while he doesn’t confirm the character’s name, his description matches the rumors. A lot of rumors have had The Thinker be who Barry has to go up against, and that seems to be the case here.

Yerolemou stated that he “read to be The Flash’s next ‘Big Bad’ and the tagline was something along of the lines of ‘The Fastest Man Alive vs. The Fastest Brain Alive. He also said the role wasn’t really for him as an actor. The casting director/showrunner gave him three pages of random Roman trivia to memorize and spit back out. Apparently, this new ‘Big Bad’ is a fast talker. Really smart.”

This does sound like Clifford DeVoe who would end up being The Thinker, and DaVoe was recently mentioned as one of The Flash’s most dangerous enemies by Abra Kadabra who had traveled back from the future. It sounds as if the two are about to be going after one another coming up. The Thinker has used his intelligence to create a variety of weapons that both he and his gang have used including the “Thinking Cap” which allowed him to project mental force against his opponents.

This particular weapon was often used quite successfully against Barry’s speed.

It should also be noted that in the comics he eventually became part of the ‘Suicide Squad’ which is something that could eventually play out on the small screen as well. At one point he even partnered with The Shade who has already been on the show as well.

There is a lot of wiggle room for both following the comics and original content when bringing in The Thinker and it looks like we’ll be seeing how that plays out in the upcoming season.

Are you looking forward to seeing The Flash go up against The Thinker in the next season? Do you think this confirms the villain or just that he was being considered? Share your thoughts below!
