A few days ago we were able to see the first trailer for Fox and Marvel TV’s upcoming live-action series ‘The Gifted and now the studio has shared an extended trailer. The show has been billed as a “non-X-Men adventure drama” which is kind of entertaining in itself as the first shots we’re seeing are something you would expect to see gracing their pages – young mutants and their parents being hunted.

We won’t even talk about the fact that there will be Sentinels or mutants like Magneto’s daughter Polaris in the show.

You can check out the trailer right here!

While those helping the mutants won’t strictly be X-Men, there are clearly going to be some crossover content here, and likely a few name drops as well. I’m sure it will only be a matter of time before a minor ex-X-Men shows up as a series regular.

Annoyances about the billing aside, Fox looks like they’ve put together a fun show here and I’m eager to see if they’ve put together something that we’ll all enjoy checking out. Considering director, Bryan Singer helmed the first episode it will likely start off strong at the very least.

What do you think of the extended sneak peek of ‘The Gifted’? Will this be joining ‘Legion’ as a must watch show for you? Share your thoughts below True Believers!
