While not set in stone, we’ve just learned from Michael Gross that he’ll be tentatively reprising his role as Burt Gummer on January 31st, 2018 for the official release of ‘Tremors 6! The movie is set for a Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital release through Universal 1440 Entertainment and shows how the beasts survived the events from ‘Tremors 5’. The one part that divided fans in their love for the series was the inclusion of Jamie Kennedy as Burt’s son Travis Walker who is also making a comeback.

We’ll see if they’ve made him a bit more enjoyable to see on screen this time around.

According to general manager and executive vice president, Universal 1440 Entertainment Glen Ross:

“This is going to be the craziest, most over-the-top movie in the Tremors saga to date. It takes the franchise’s signature combination of suspense, action, and humor to new explosive heights.”

I’m not sure how much over-the-top the series can get but anyone who has seen the franchise will eagerly be wanting to check that out. While it has devolved into a pure B-horror movie franchise that should seriously fight a Sharknado on Syfy, it still manages to be fun to watch.
