Thor: Ragnarok‘ is slowly working its way to this Fall’s big screen release and new behind-the-scenes photos have revealed some aliens from the film. There isn’t much to go on, but these extras look more like something out of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ which strengthens my belief that we’ll see some a tie-in to the upcoming ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ somewhere in here. These new photos come courtesy of a bonus featurette on the third phase of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe which was included in the digital release of ‘Doctor Strange’!

While the first two films spent a lot of time on Earth with a little time in the other realms such as Asgard, this one seems to be taking things to quite higher galactic scale than what we’re used to. With aliens abound, I just can’t help but feel that this is leading into the larger story arc which Marvel Studios has mapped out.

Let’s take a look at the new images below:

These don’t look like aliens that would be hanging out in Asgard or any of the other realms that the Thor movies have shown us.

Synopsis:

In Marvel Studios’ ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!
