Look out ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer,’ there’s a new pair of demon-hunting chicks coming to the airwaves, and this time, they’re British. The new series ‘Crazyhead,’ which comes to us from Howard Overmand, the creator of the much-beloved and hilarious ‘Misfits’ sitcom, is basically a mashing of ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ with ‘Misfits’, making it a horror/ comedy seemingly in the tradition of ‘Sean of the Dead.’ Unlike in ‘Buffy’ though, the show features two “chosen ones,” which seems to be where a lot of the comedy comes from, as one of the ladies in question clearly wants nothing to do with the job, and seems quite content with her day job working at a bowling alley. So yeah, the show basically follows the two leads, Raquel and Amy during their early 20s as they live their lives and battle evil demons in their free time.  The series is one of a handful of imports coming soon to Netflix, which already suggests to viewers some quality, as Netflix would not be bringing them alongside their own in-house originals if they did not see something worthwhile in the content.

To see more of what the show is about, we have both the trailer for the series and a quick clip that have been released, which you can check out for yourself below. Both show off the quirky tone of the show, while also setting up the horror vibe and how the premise works, which is that these two women alone seem able to pick out the demons from the regular people (they can see their demon heads or, “crazy heads”), which is why they are uniquely able to hunt them down and fight them. Make sure to watch the clips and share your thoughts on ‘Crazyhead’ in the comments section below!
