When it was announced at this year’s San Diego Comic Con that Ghost Rider would be joining the ranks of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ for the fourth season, True Believers were anxious to see the Spirit of Vengeance arrive in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to mix it up with Agent Phil Coulson and the rest of the team. Although, judging by the events at the end of Season Three, Chloe Bennet’s Daisy Johnson is no longer part of the team. Does that mean that Quake won’t cross paths with Robbie Reyes when he makes his debut? Quite the contrary actually.

During a recent interview with IGN, Bennet teased that her character will be interacting with the Rider very early on in season four of the ABC superhero drama. After detailing the rogue nature of Daisy’s new status quo following the death of Lincoln, the actress shared that she has been spending less time with the regular cast since shooting has started. Instead, the former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent has “spent some time on the east side of LA… at night”. Of course, that is where the flaming-headed hero played by Gabriel Luna resides, so it appears that the showrunners are wasting little time and getting the Hell Charger into the race as soon as possible.

Naturally, we’ll have to wait a little bit longer before we get our first real look at Ghost Rider’s meeting with Daisy. However, a few unofficial glimpses at the altercation have made their way to social media. Thanks to the following Instagram videos, you can see Bennet clinging to the roof of Ghost Rider’s ride that is likely being handled by a stunt driver rather than Luna:

It’s currently unclear what posses Johnson to pursue Reyes by jumping onto his car, but I’m sure that we’ll find out in due time. Until then, are you excited to see Quake and Ghost Rider clash on ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’? Why do you think will cause them to cross paths? Share your thoughts and theories in the comments.

‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ starring Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, and Henry Simmons returns to ABC on September 20, 2016 at 10:00pm.
