The latest teaser for the sixth season of ‘American Horror Story‘ doesn’t come from a casting announcement or an offhand comment from the show’s creator Ryan Murphy but by a simple logo which has appeared online. I’m sure we’ll be seeing this evolve as time goes by but for now the first promotional image is a simple 6 in a style that is fitting for the horror anthology series that FX has been making a killing with. It isn’t just a six though as it also includes a question mark for the lower portion of the number.

It makes you wonder what we may have to be questioning.

While we don’t know much about the plot quite yet we do know that it will consist of 2 stories that take place over multiple time periods. All Murphy has really said about the upcoming season so far is that:

“The interesting thing about this season is we’ve been working on two ideas at once, which we’ve never done. So I don’t want to say what it maybe is. Both things that we’re writing right now — we haven’t declared a winner — will have a different form, so we’re excited about that. We’ll talk about it soon, but we haven’t landed on it yet.”

Casting hasn’t been fully confirmed either but we’ll be seeing a return of Cheyenne Jackson, Leslie Jordon, Lady Gaga, and Angela Bassett. Sadly it is quite clear at this point that who we won’t see back is the ever talented Jessica Lange who has stolen every scene that she’s been in so far.

What are your thoughts on the sixth season logo reveal? Do you think this questioning 6 will become an integral part of the story line or is just a cool piece of art they are using until they announce plot details? Share your thoughts below!
