The following scenes have mostly already been chopped up and mixed into the previously released trailers for ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’, but Warner Brothers has released them un-edited in preparation for the release of the film next Friday. The one brand new clip features Amy Adams, returning as Lois Lane, confronting her boss Perry White, played by Laurence Fishburn.
Slight SPOILER WARNING, these scenes, while previously glimpsed in various clips, do represent some significant portions of the movie. Unlike ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, which kept nearly everything under wraps until the film was released, Warner Brothers is releasing large chunks of this movie in advance of its theatrical release. Which approach works better for fans? That remains to be seen.
At any rate, these are the clips included in this package:
- Lex Luthor goading Superman on a rooftop. Luthor: “The greatest gladiator match known to man. God against man. Day versus night. Son of Krypton versus Bat of Gotham City.”
- Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent having a pissing contest at a black tie affair.
- Lois Lane confronting Perry White.
- Alfred counseling Bruce Wayne about “going to war” with Superman.
- Superman and Batman coming face-to-face. Superman: “Stay down! If I wanted it, you’d be dead already!” Cue smoke grenade.
- Bruce Wayne confronting Diana Prince regarding something she stole. Bruce: “I’ve known a few women like you.” Diana: “I don’t think you’ve ever known a woman like me.”
