In case you may have forgotten since your mind has been preoccupied with the end of summer and the beginning of fall, right about now would be a good time to get excited for the return of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘ on ABC. With only a few more days remaining until the season three premiere, True Believers everywhere will be able to resume their weekly dose of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And to get fans even more excited about what’s to come, Marvel Television has unleashed the opening scene from the upcoming episode.
In case you can’t wait until Tuesday night, IGN recently released the first four minutes of the episode titled ‘Laws of Nature.’ In this scene, we meet Juan Pablo Raba of ‘Narcos’ as Joey, a newly hatched Inhuman that is still trying to make sense of his new powers. After being chased by the Advanced Threat Containment Unit because of the accidental damage that he has caused, Joey meets Agent Daisy Johnson and her S.H.I.E.L.D. cohorts as they attempt to get him out of the situation safely. On the season premiere episode, ‘Laws of Nature’, when Coulson and the team discover a new Inhuman, S.H.I.E.L.D. comes face to face with another organization searching for powered people. And still reeling from Simmons’ dramatic disappearance, Fitz goes to extreme lengths to try to learn how to get her back.
As usual, ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ doesn’t waste very much time before getting right back into the action. It’ll be interesting to see if Joey turns out to be one of Quake’s new Secret Warriors once his powers are under control.
