As fans nervously await the arrival of 20th Century Fox’s ‘Fantastic Four,’ the studio has continued to release clips and trailers to attempt to entice moviegoers to see Josh Trank‘s film despite the negative press. In the latest sneak peak release during ‘WWE Raw,’ we get a much longer version of the trailer, which goes into a lot more detail about young Reed Richards, and what each member of the team brought to the lab during the time at the Baxter Building before they became super-powered. We learn Ben Grimm is basically there to protect Reed, Reed is the exciting new scientist that Dr. Storm has put all his faith into, and Johnny seems “able to build anything.”

Other than that, the trailer does not really contain that much more footage than we’ve already scene, though it does manage to put it together in a pretty compelling way, making it seem like the film has a lot more promise than all the other signs we have been seeing have led us to believe. Perhaps the film is simply misunderstood by 20th Century Fox, and will turn out to be a hit despite everything, who knows? It would be nice to see Marvel’s first family get a deserving film, and create new fans on the big screen, especially now that its comic run is over.

Oh, and make sure to stick around for after the trailer, as Deadpool himself makes a brief appearance, promising audiences that if they go see ‘Fantastic Four’ they will also get the see the teaser trailer for ‘Deadpool,’ a notion that would be a lot more exciting if we had not already seen a trailer for ‘Deadpool’ arrive on the internet.

FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways.
