One of the biggest questions about the upcoming ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ movie is how in the world Batman (played by Ben Affleck) has a chance of fighting against Superman (played by Henry Cavill). As awesome as Batman is, there’s just no way a puny mortal could compare. Sure, the trailer showed him in that futuristic-looking armor that probably increases his strength and whatnot, but Superman is still going to be stronger and faster than that. Kryptonite is the easiest answer, indeed some rumors claim that Batman will be using a kryptonite spear, but that leads to the question of how Batman would know about that in the first place.

Well apparently Entertainment Weekly managed to snag some information about the upcoming film, including a visit to Zack Snyder’s editing suite for a showing of part of the fight between Batman and Superman.

According to EW, “Snyder showed off early passes of the money sequence, a rainy rooftop battle between the two capes. There’s an undeniable thrill to watching these pop culture icons go at it—throwing each other through walls and skylights.”

So the fight itself looks to be a pretty rough, all-out fight, which, let’s be honest, is exactly what we’re all looking for. Though personally, I hope Batman’s still outmatched and has to use his superior intellect to make up for the strength difference.

EW was also shown a couple of scenes involving Bruce Wayne and his butler Alfred (played by Jeremy Irons) discussing the upcoming battle and why Batman thinks it has to take place. Sure it’s the superhero battle we deserve, but is it the superhero battle we need?

So what do you think about the upcoming movie? Are you excited to see Batman and Superman duke it out, or would you prefer they settle their differences over some tea and platonic hugging? Let us know in the comments below.

‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ is currently slated for a May 25th, 2016 release.
