We’ve known for awhile that by the end of ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron‘ we’ll be seeing Vision pop up being played by Paul Bettany and the latest promotional artwork from the film has him featured front and center. Just as a warning the shots and some of his comic origins listed below may contain some spoilers for the film, so I’d probably want to not go too much further if you aren’t familiar with the character.
Okay, now that you’ve had the option to head out, let’s take a look at the new shot in detail!
This latest artwork seems to show that he’ll be a hero in the film, at least by the time the movie comes to a close. Which makes me question if he’ll start off as one or will be one by the end of the movie? It also makes me question, where can I snag one of these sweet posters?
Those unfamiliar with the character might be curious as to why I’m wondering about his storyline.
Well, in the comic universe The Vision starts off as having been created by Ultron to be used as a tool against The Avengers but quickly ends up joining our heroes. We’ll see if he starts off as the one remaining piece of this automated program that rebels against Ultron or if he starts off as a villain with Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch and then later switches sides. Speaking of the Scarlet Witch, fans of Vision know that as his humanity grows he and Wanda end up becoming not only an item but husband and wife.
My personal guess is that Tony will end up creating the Vision’s body mixed with the Jarvis AI further into the film as they are rallying to fight off Ultron.
What are your thoughts on the look of Vision? Are you happy with his cinematic treatment or were you expecting something else? Share your thoughts below true believers!
