In the upcoming ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice‘ it looks as if Batman won’t just have his standard suit that we’ve seen in promotional images so far, but he’ll also have a second suit as well. It sounds as if he has some time at the start of the film to not only gather materials but also design a special suit to allow him to go toe to toe with Superman!
How is that possible you may ask? Well in Zack Snyder’s upcoming film it sounds like Bruce Wayne must have used his vast wealth and connections to get some Kryptonite as well as materials from the Kryptonian spaceships.
That sounds about right. He does need to have something to match his shiny armored Batmobile.
Apparently we have Frank Miller’s classic ‘The Dark Knight Returns’ to thank for both of the outfits. It seems that the more we hear about them, the more it sounds like the film designs were at least largely influenced by those comic designs.
So without pictures how do we know about this current information. It sounds like Rehan Jalali, the man who has been training Ben Affleck for the film, leaked the details.
I wonder if this means he’ll soon be Affleck’s EX-trainer? At any rate, those of you who were lucky enough to have been at San Diego Comic-Con may have already seen it but there are more details on it now. Not only is the suit covered in Kryptonite, as was originally stated, but it seems like DC took a page out of Iron Man’s playbook and added in that it shoots missiles. Yes, it’s the Iron Batman ladies and gentlemen!
