Why let TV have all the fun?  While the networks are busy shilling their newest TV options coming this fall, let’s not forget that there are more movies coming our way once the summer season dies down.  One of the biggest that audiences can look forward to is ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1,’ the penultimate chapter of this hit franchise based on Suzanne Collins’ YA book series. The latest publicity for the movie are these two 3D, 360 degree posters featuring Jenna Malone as Johanna Mason and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark.  If you recall the last movie, Peeta was taken captive by the tyrannical Capital.  If you’ve read the books, you know that things are going to get worse before they get better.

Check out the posters below followed by the Capitol’s description of the looks:

Here we see Johanna in an exquisite Alon Livne creation that “juxtaposes the flowing drapery of classic statuary while the super modern and sculptural iridescent white bodice references the branch motif of the Panem Seal.”  With plunging lines and slits as daring and divine as the warrior woman herself, every element of Johanna’s ensemble (including her Alexander Wang shoes and hand-carved marble bangles by Chen Chen and Kai Williams) exudes her fierce strength and enduring pride- a true darling of the Capitol.

Peeta stands tall and true in his Capitol Citizen Living Portrait, his matte leather Unconditional ensemble showcasing a stone-like texture and channeling the victor’s quiet strength, completed by shirt and shoes courtesy of Maison Martin Margiela. The paper collar piece, designed by David Mason, mirrors the sculptural elements in Johanna’s dress and gives a stern ambiance to the baker’s son. With an unprecedented two victories under his belt, Peeta is no longer the boy who bravely faced the 74th Hunger Games, but a true Capitol hero.

Are you ready to head back to Panem?
