At E3, the big news in zombies was that ‘Dead Island 2’ was in the works! With one of the funniest trailers that have been released to date, that isn’t the only news in the world of Dead Island! Deep Silver has just released this game play trailer for ‘Dead Island: Epidemic’ that gives gamers a new take on the world!

Not familiar with the game? Here’s a quick synopsis to fill you in:

What do deadly umbrellas, flaming trumpets, shark tornados and legions of gruesome zombies have in common? Today Deep Silver releases the Dead Island: Epidemic gameplay trailer to explain everything you need to know about the world’s first *ZOMBA* (Zombie Online Multiplayer Battle Arena).

Dead Island: Epidemic pits three teams of players against each other in a desperate fight for survival. Dead Island: Epidemic is a Free-to-Play PC title that features all the trademark zombie-slaughtering elements that are hallmark of any Dead Island experience.

With the game having an entirely new point of view, play style, and the fact that it is free-to-play game makes it a cut above the rest in terms of creativity. We’re getting all of the same fun filled zombie killing in a new whole interface and you have to admit it looks like it’ll be a blast.

You can see what I mean below:

There are a lot of changes in the game from the previous version. One of the best ones is “booming action.’ the fact that it is an old school keyboard interface which perfect for old school gamers!

On top of that, the game is a little like “Battle Royale” in that the core mode features 3 teams of 12 battling it out against one another to survive! You’ll have to get supplies, hold points, and outsmart all of your enemies all while facing down a swarm of zombies.

One carry over from ‘Dead Island’ though, is that you’ll be able to craft your own weapons to match your play style. Who doesn’t love upgrades?

The new game is currently in Closed Beta and you can sign up now to be notified of any further early beta options to play the game at www.playdie.net.

What do you think of the gameplay in ‘Dead Island: Epidemic’? Does this look like a game you can really sink your teeth into or are you sick of the undead hordes?
