When it rains it pours with new videos of everyone’s favorite webslinger. I’m still convinced that on the May 2nd theatrical release that those of us watching the pics, trailers, clips, and featurettes will have already seen most of the movie. Still if you don’t mind taking even more in, we have a great international trailer with a couple brief new footage and more importantly an official clip with Harry and Electro hanging out.
While the trailer is international and not in English you do get some great new shots from the film mixed in with even more that you’ve already had a chance to see. Including, I believe, more scenes of the Goblin than we have seen to date. Or just more in one trailer.
Not bad but what is more fun to watch is this great clip with Harry Osborn talking to Electro and convincing him to go after Spider-Man. Is this a pure manipulative setup or is Harry about to go against his father’s wishes?
So what do you think folks? Are we seeing Harry take on his father’s footsteps as one of the ultimate powerful and manipulating people on the planet? Are you excited to see the Webslinger have to face off against the beginning of the Sinister Six? Share your thoughts below true believers!
Synopsis:
We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.
It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′ hits theaters on May 2, 2014. Andrew Garfield is back as Peter Parker, along with Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy. Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro, along with Dane DeHann as Harry Osborn. The film also features Sally Field and Chris Cooper.
