With ‘Terminator: Genesis’ starting production in Lousiana soon and planning a 9-month back to back shooting schedule for sequels, you had better know that final casting would be ramping up and today we have three new names to add to the film’s cast. The stars have already been lining up for the film with J.K. Simmons (‘Spider-Man’, ‘The Closer’) and Dayo Okeniyi (‘The Hunger Games‘, ‘The Spectacular Now’) both recently having signed on. So who was offered roles you are wondering? Well the latest three additions are Byung-hun Lee (‘I Saw the Devil’, ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation‘), Sandrine Holt (‘Underworld: Awakening‘, ‘Resident Evil: Apocalypse’), and Michael Gladis (‘Mad Men’, ‘Knights of Badassdom’).

While no word has yet been announced about the three characters as their roles are being kept under wraps. we do know that Lee’s part “promises to be a doozy.” I could be way off base but with his high action work and build from the ‘G.I. Joe’ films as Storm Shadow, I highly suspect we’re going to be seeing him in an action filled role that would either end up being a Terminator or a resistance fighter. My money is on a new Terminator.

The roles of both Holt and Gladis are a lot harder to guess at, though, as Gladis usually plasy pretty quick or intelligent characters. I could see him ending up as scientist involved in the creaton of Skynet while Holt’s history in action could lead her to also be someone of note on either the Terminator side or the resistance. With the movie’s release date set for July 1st and production about to begin we’ll have not only more details but some actual shots of production in the near future.

How about it ‘Terminator’ fans, any guesses on the roles that these three may fill? Will they all be new characters or could any be a revisit to a past character from the movies? Share your thoughts below!
