Earlier this week, ‘Game of Thrones’ fans were treated to an extended look at the upcoming season thanks to the 15-minute HBO special ‘Game of Thrones Ice And Fire: A Foreshadowing’. In that special, we heard from a number of cast members as they discussed what was in store for their characters in season four of the hit fantasy drama based on the novels by George R.R. Martin. One of those cast members was Maisie Williams AKA Arya Stark, the youngest daughter of Ned & Catelyn’s litter that is currently traveling the Westeros countryside with the Hound after the devastation of the Red Wedding. Now, the actress speaks up even more about what to expect from the feisty little wolf when the show returns in a few months.

When we heard from Williams in the recent special, she spoke of the good guys making a comeback. However, in a recent interview with E! Online, she talked about a more sinister twist to Arya’s story:

“Arya’s really changing this year and I’m not sure people are going to like who she’s becoming. She’s turning a lot darker and she’s not quite as fun as she used to be…It’s a different Arya than we’ve seen before.”

Fans of the show will recall that the little Stark already has a few kills under her belt, and now that she’s traveling with one of the most feared men in the realm, they likely won’t be her last, especially when she has a whole list of Lannisters in her head to target that she repeats like a mantra.

So with that information in mind, just how dark do you think Arya Stark will get in the fourth season of ‘Game of Thrones’? Do you think that she’ll get her revenge by crossing some Lannisters off of her list? Share your thoughts and theories in the comments below.

‘Game of Thrones’ starring Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Natalie Dormer, Maisie Williams, and Sophie Turner, among many others, returns to HBO on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 9:00pm.
