Hollywood is full of gorgeous people. There’s nothing new about that fact and one of the most beautiful young actresses out there right now is Natalie Dormer. Known for her work in ‘The Tudors’ and ‘Elementary’, the actress probably gained the majority of her popularity after appearing in ‘Game of Thrones’ as Margaery Tyrell. But now, as she prepares to debut in ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1’, she has unveiled a bold and beautiful new look for her Capitol makeover.

Over the weekend at the Screen Actors Guilds Awards, Dormer showed off her new haircut on the red carpet that she will be sporting as Cressida in the final chapters of the ‘Hunger Games’ film franchise based on the popular novels by Suzanne Collins. Apparently, she had been sporting the look since October, but this was the first time that she was in the public eye since then. You can take a closer look at this striking and stylish hairstyle in the tweet below from People:

Dormer then spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the evolution of her look, which all started with a series of conversations with her director Francis Lawrence about what her Panem character should look like:

“Francis Lawrence, the director of Mockingjay, and I discussed it and I took the job on the premise that I would possibly [have to] shave my whole head. I’m actually really pleased that we went halfway because I think it’s more the Capitol… and that’s where Cressida comes from. She comes from the Capitol, so she’s got a stylized thing going on and now she’s turned rebel. I think it’s right for the character.”

For those of you out there concerned about her regular recurring roles on ‘Elementary’ and ‘Game of Thrones’, the actress also confirmed that she has wigs for each role that make her new look unnoticeable onscreen.
