With the extended trailer for ‘Helix‘ already released and the premiere of the show on January 10th, Syfy has continued the show’s promotion and has released these three clips for you to enjoy! Each of these show off something slightly different things that is going on when whatever outbreak occurs actually happens.

If you’re not yet familiar with the show’s premise, here’s a short synopsis:

Helix is an intense thriller about a team of scientists from the Centers for Disease Control who travel to a high-tech research facility in the Arctic to investigate a possible disease outbreak, only to find themselves pulled into a terrifying life-and-death struggle that holds the key to mankind’s salvation or total annihilation. However, the lethal threat is just the tip of the iceberg, and as the virus evolves, the chilling truth begins to unravel.

Now to the clips!

Access Granted to the Arctic
While not in English this clip shows a doctor who has fallen in the arctic with either blood or the mysterious contagion dripping from his mouth. I strongly suspect that it’s the second of the two.

Access Granted the Final Interviews
The final set of interviews with a couple of the cast members who have applied to work as scientists at the Arctic Biosystems. After the fact they may regret having such successful interviews..

Access Granted to Meditation
It’s hard work being stationed in the Arctic away from sun. Meditation is a key way to help keep the stress of high intensity at work while surrounded by a desolate wasteland. It doesn’t look like it’s going to be helping the last of the three keep calm and carry on though as the narrator is suggesting.

I felt that after the trailers this one was a bit of a let down. These might have been good between seasons but we don’t know enough about the show quite yet for these to work for me. That’s just my view though, ladies and gents. Do these clips have you more or less interested in the show? Would you rather see more teasers that are done in this style or more trailers?
