Today marks the 30th anniversary of the ‘Doctor Who’ episode ‘The Five Doctors’, a special episode commemorating the 20th anniversary of the ‘Doctor Who’ series.  What made this episode so unique was that it brought together 5 regenerations of the Doctor to work with each other in one big adventure (as Whovians know, the Fourth Doctor scenes were edited in as Tom Baker had no interest reprising his role for the episode at the time). So what better way to celebrate this momentous occasion that to revisit the Doctors in this short film ‘The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot’.

With the 50th anniversary of the series, many Whovians were hoping for the same thing: a reunion of all the actors who have played the Doctor to come together. Imagine the surprise and outrage when it was disclosed that only David Tennant (the Tenth Doctor) would be involved (although Tom Baker did get a great cameo in the episode).

So what are the other “Doctors” to do? Well, try to get in on the anniversary show, of course!

In this hilarious romp written and directed by Peter Davison, watch as he and fellow former Doctors attempt to get themselves involved in some way with the 50th anniversary episode.

The 30 minute film is chocked full of in jokes, Whovian celebrity appearances and lots of nods to the Classic series and is a treat to watch! What a great way to cap the 50th anniversary of the ’Doctor Who’ series!
