While Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence is currently out and about promoting her next film, ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’, the press can’t seem to resist asking about her upcoming return to being blue in Bryan Singer’s return to the X-franchise. Since the viral marketing kicked off at this year’s Comic-Con, we’ve been seeing some excellent peeks into what to expect from ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ thanks to photos and an awesome trailer and we just can’t get enough. To tease us even further, JLaw recently revealed what she’ll be up to in the movie, besides kicking a good bit of ass.
Thanks to Rebecca Romijn’s portrayal of the Mystique in previous X-Men movies, we know where the character ends up and how deadly she becomes. But in an interview with IGN, Lawrence tells us where we’ll be finding Raven in the new movie, which looks to be at the very beginning stages of her progression into becoming a killer. Through the many years of comic book mythology built up over the years, X-Men fans have come to know Mystique as one of the most deadly women in the Marvel Universe. However, I don’t ever recall reading about her first kill or how she got into assassinations, so I think that it will be interesting to see in ‘Days of Future Past’. Of course, it’s very possible that I just missed that issue, but either way, I’m looking forward to this.
