As mentioned last week, the global fan celebration for ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’ will occur today! The event will take place at 5PM EST (2PM PST) and will stream live simultaneously around the world.
Joining in this worldwide fan event via satellite are director Peter Jackson who will appear from New Zealand, Evangeline Lilly (who plays new Elf warrior Tauriel) from Los Angeles; Lee Pace (who plays Elf King Thranduil), Luke Evans (Bard the Bowman) and Andy Serkis (Gollum) will be joining the event from London; and Richard Armitage (Thorin Oakenshield) and Orlando Bloom (who returns as Legolas) will join host Anderson Cooper from the New York location.
Fans in select cinemas around the world will be able to ask the cast and director questions via the satellite link up and you can watch it all live in either of the two players below!
In addition to this awesome Q&A, Jackson will also be unveiling some exclusive new footage as well as other surprises. (Those watching it in the stream below will see an edited version of the footage shown to those who are in the theaters)
