Lionsgate has unveiled a new banner for ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ showcasing the biggest names from the 75th Annual Hunger Games, or as it is more colloquially referred to, “The Quarter Quell.”  After lead hero Katniss Everdeen essentially outsmarted the tyrannical Capitol in the first movie, and inspired pockets of rebellion, the rulers of Panem must punish her… but in a way that no one suspects.  So what do they do?  Drag Katniss and Peeta back into the arena, alongside other previous winners, once again, forcing them to battle to the death, with only one victor allowed.  Essentially, this is an “all-star” lineup of former tributes, all of whom went on to fame… but at a dark price.  Among the tributes are the brutal Gloss, stab-happy Johanna, techno-geek Beetee and blond Adonis Finnick.

If you loved the first movie, the stakes only get higher the second time around.  Katniss, in a way, cheated to save herself and Peeta the first go-round.  There’s no way the sinister Capitol will let her get away with it a second time!  So what happens?  Will it come down to Katniss versus Peeta?  Don’t worry, there’s even more going on than was even hinted at in the first movie.  Don’t count any of these tributes out!

What do you think of the sleek new costumes?  Will they give Katniss the extra edge she needs to survive the Quarter Quell? Will the odds be ever in your favor, opening weekend?  Comment below!
