Next month, the home video release of ‘Iron Man 3’ will be hitting retail outlets everywhere. We already know that the special features will include the Marvel One-Shot ‘Agent Carter’, but recently we learned there will also be a behind the scenes look at ‘Thor: The Dark World’, various featurettes, a gag reel, and a plethora of deleted and alternate scenes. Now, it appears that one scene has made it’s way online to get fans stoked for the upcoming release.
USA Today exclusively shared this brief deleted scene featuring the Mandarin. While many fans are divided on Ben Kingsley’s version of the classic Marvel villain, no one can really say that they saw the twist coming. Like or not, Shane Black had the world talking about it. I can totally see why this scene was cut as it doesn’t really add much to the overall story of the film, but it’s cool to see nonetheless. It’s my hope that we’ll see more of Kingsley in the deleted scenes section since he’s such a great actor and I am one of the few people that I know that really enjoyed the Mandarin character.
