After the season three finale of AMC’s acclaimed zombie drama aired a month ago, fans of ‘The Walking Dead’ have a long wait until the fall when we get to see Rick, Glenn, Maggie, Daryl, or the Governor on our television sets again. But earlier this week, production on the next season has begun, so we’re one step closer to the next exciting chapter of this series based on Robert Kirkman’s popular Image Comics book.
While there’s been a lot of talk of ‘The Wire’ alumni Larry Gilliard Jr. joining the cast, a new behind the scenes featurette from Shock Till You Drop shows us a few more new recruits to the cast. In the video, executive producer and special effects extraordinaire Greg Nicotero takes in some groups of bright-eyed hopefuls looking to score a gig on the show as walkers.
