Get ready fan boys and girls as Twentieth Century Fox has released the first official image of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the upcoming film ‘The Wolverine.’
The image has shirtless Jackman in character with his adamantium claws exposed. And speaking of exposed, have I mentioned he’s shirtless? As you will see below, Jackman has been working hard to get into character.
‘The Wolverine’ is meant to be a stand-alone movie in the Marvel universe and will center on Logan as he heads to Japan where he deals with assassins, a gang boss, political corruption and the introduction of Viper and the Silver Samuari. The film is based on the 1982 comic story arc by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller’s from the classic limited series ‘Wolverine’. According to the movie’s log line, “‘The Wolverine’ finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.”
