Who knew that the movie ‘Men in Black’ was actually based on a comic book? The short lived 6 issue comic series was created and written by Lowell Cunningham an illustrated by Sandy Carruthers back in the 1990’s.
With other comic book turned big budget movies coming out, it’s surprising how little this one has been marketed.
Sony has just released a new trailer for the movie and I must say, I really enjoyed this one! It brings back memories of the first ‘Men in Black’ movie that I loved so much! Josh Brolin seems to have channeled Tommy Lee Jones perfectly for the movie and there are, of course, the obligatory “that famous person is an alien” joke which can still evoke a giggle out of me. While in the first trailer we got to see that the movie will deal with time travel (with Brolin as a young Agent K), this clip shows us Agent’s J’s (Will Smith) impression of time travel.
