When the first pictures of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman were released, it was received with mixed reviews. Most fans were expecting to see a costume similar to what Halle Barry or even Michelle Pfeiffer wore, but when the understated outfit was revealed, many fans and critics were lukewarm to its look.

Anne Hathaway noticed the reaction and is answering back. In an interview with MTV while promoting her upcoming movie ‘One Day’, she was asked about her thoughts on these initial criticisms, she responded, “I was not going to admit it, I asked someone to send me a few reactions. And I happen to know that MTV’s reaction was ‘meh’.” She continues on to say, “What I am happy to say is if you don’t like the photo, you only see about a tenth of what the suit can do. And if you did like the photo, you have excellent taste”. You can see part of MTV’s interview with Hathaway below:

Meanwhile, filming is continuing in Pittsburgh with Hathaway’s stunt double working on Catwoman’s action scenes. TMZ was able to get footage of a scene where Catwoman is escaping from Gotham City Hall on the Batpod. Unfortunately, Catwoman found herself heading towards the cameraman and  crashed into him demolishing one of the IMAX cameras. Luckily, no one was hurt. What’s funny to note is at the end, a production person is seen hurrying to cover up the stuntwoman so you don’t see too much of Catwoman. ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ hits theatrs on July 12, 2012.
