‘Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)’ is due out in just a couple of weeks and Warner Bros. has released a new making-of featurette for the film! In this behind-the-scenes look at the movie, we have the director and cast gushing about what they feel is unique about the film. The modern DC films got off to a rocky start, but the recent outings have all done rather well at the box office. In ‘Birds of Prey’ it looks as if the studio has found a fresh way to deliver us a superhero movie that captures some of the essences of ‘Deadpool’ with an entirely different perspective, and I’m not just talking about it being a female-lead film.
You won’t just see new footage in this featurette, but insight from the cast about their characters as well. It also shows how well the cast and creative team worked together. As a bonus, there is also a bit of how the cast trained for their parts.

What I love about this featurette is precisely how much fun it appears the cast and crew are having. I suspect that will translate to some fantastic performances by the cast when the movie premieres.

You ever hear the one about the cop, the songbird, the psycho and the mafia princess? Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is a twisted tale told by Harley herself, as only Harley can tell it. When Gotham’s most nefariously narcissistic villain, Roman Sionis, and his zealous right-hand, Zsasz, put a target on a young girl named Cass, the city is turned upside down looking for her. Harley, Huntress, Black Canary, and Renee Montoya’s paths collide, and the unlikely foursome have no choice but to team up to take Roman down.
‘Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)’ is set to open on February 7th, 2020.
