The Grudge movie one sheet

Sony Pictures Entertainment and Screen Gems have released a red-band trailer for ‘The Grudge’ to enjoy! Expect a couple of scares but not much story. The most exciting prospect of the movie is that Sam Raimi is attached as a producer.

‘The Grudge’ stars John Cho, Andrea Riseborough, Demián Bechir, Betty Gilpin, Lin Shaye, Jacki Weaver, and William Sadler.

After watching the trailer it should now be clear why the movie has an R-rating. ‘The Grudge’ has been described not as a reboot, but as another chapter that is canon to the existing franchise. All the films have already gone back and forth between the United States and Japan, so this concept is one that makes sense.

Honestly, I’m willing to give this movie a chance, but I want the next trailer to show more of the movie’s plot and not just a vague sense as to what the tone of the film will be like.
