Gabriel Luna Expresses His Thoughts On Hulu Not Moving Forward With 'Ghost Rider'

This week we learned that Hulu had made the mistake of not moving forward with Marvel’s ‘Ghost Rider and now series star Gabriel Luna is sharing his thoughts on the matter. First introduced on ABC on Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ we know that his return on the streaming network was meant to usher in a new set of shows called “Adventures Into Fear.” This line was also meant to include a ‘Helstrom’ series and likely had another show or two in the works as well.

Now, Luna has taken social media to thank the fans and share:

To everyone who loves Robbie and Ghost Rider, THANK YOU. I’ve had the time of my life playing those two guys and I was ready to rock on the new show. The news was surprising, but I’ve always known that the nature of this business is that until you’re there, on the day, doing the thing it could still go away. Even then, that next day on the job ain’t guaranteed. Thanks to Loeb, @marvel, @felipesmithart and everyone who helped bring Robbie to life on the page and the screen. 🔥💀🔥 I’m focused now on our promotions for @terminator. We’ll be bringing Terminator:Dark Fate to theatres in just over a month! Hope to see everyone there when it opens on The Day of The Dead, Nov. 1st! 🤖💀🤖

Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb previously shared that “The good news is people love Gabe, people love the way that character works, the feature film levels special effects – and the part that’s really exciting is we’ll push it further. It will have a little fun that folks will really dig.” Sadly, Hulu didn’t seem to agree with this.

Are you annoyed with Hulu that they didn’t choose to pursue developing a ‘Ghost Rider’ series? How do you feel Gabriel Luna reacted to the situation? Share your thoughts in the comments below, True Believers!
