Holy Sith!
While there aren’t a lot of details overall available yet, Lucasfilm recently decided to pull back the curtain and announce the first collectibles based on ‘Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise Of Skywalker’ will be available at San Diego Comic-Con 2019! So far the only character officially announced is the new Sith Trooper, and while it doesn’t sound like much, it’s heading to the convention at full force with Sith Trooper releases from a number of companies in various lines! You can look forward to the Sith trooper coming to the Star Wars Black Series 6″ line, Hot Toys 1:6 Scale line, Funko POP! Vinyls, and even Geeki Tikis! I Choose You!
After several successful rounds of releases, it looks like Funko heading back to Nintendo’s popular ‘Pokemon’ video game series for the latest addition to the POP! Vinyl line! While it remains to be seen if Funko will ever give us the chance to actually catch them all, fans can at least rest easy in knowing that we finally got the third and final original starter Pokemon in the form of Squirtle that is due to hit stores later this summer!
The Nightmare Before Christmas In July
Funko is diving back into the world of Tim Burton’s ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ with an all new wave of POP! Vinyls! Later this year collectors can look forward to Vampire Jack, Mummy Boy, The Witch, and Undersea Gal joining the line.
We’ve also got Jack’s House joining the POP! Town line that comes packaged with a new POP! Vinyl of Jack Skellington. And finally, for all of you diehards out there, there will be a special new 10″ Oogie Boogie POP! Vinyl available exclusively at Walmart stores this fall!
