When Aunt May was introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we saw Marisa Tomei giving us a different portrayal compared to what we’ve seen on screen before. The actress gives us a younger, more energetic, and flirty version of the character who has some great onscreen chemistry with Jon Favreau’s Happy Hogan in ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home‘. While it looks as if Marvel Studios always intended to give us this take on the character, her hair and clothing had quite a few alternate styles going on before deciding what her final look would look like on the big screen.
The actress took to Instagram not only to show off these styles but give some great video commentary on each one as well!
It is always possible she could transition into one of these looks in the third “Spider-Man” movie, or if a multiverse does get introduced down the line these could end up as alternate versions of Aunt May that could appear!
I do love that Tomei didn’t just seem to have fun getting into each of these styles but sharing them with fans everywhere as well!
