While ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ felt like the end of the first chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it has been revealed that ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ serves as a perfect epilogue and final chapter before a new long-running tale begins. With the latest Spider-Man movie having been filmed before ‘Avengers: Endgame’ was released, many of the cast members knew the significant changes to the MCU before even the cast of Avengers: Endgame’!

The details came from Tony Revolori who played Flash Thompson in the “Spider-Man” films:
“We were all sat down in a room, at least I was, and Eric Carroll came in and told most of the cast what happens in Endgame, so I had known things that happened in Endgame before some of the Endgame actors themselves. We shot that a year before it [Endgame] came out so we had to figure all that out and they had to tell us all about it, which was great but also a little bit sad that I didn’t get to experience that in the theater like everyone else.”
It almost feels surprising that so many actors would know what happened in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ even before those who starred in the film, but it also would have been impossible to film much of ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ without advanced knowledge of both characters returning and Iron Man dying.
Thankfully, everyone was able to keep their mouths shut about it including Tom Holland!
Are you at all surprised that the ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ actors knew how ‘Avengers: Endgame’ came to a close before Earth’s Mightiest Heroes?
