First Look At Some ‘Marvel’-ous New Hot Toys
Hot Toys is largely considered one of the most prestigious of high-end toy companies out there. Their figures are usually second to none in terms of quality and realism, and they are almost always keeping their finger on the pulse of the collecting community by bringing us amazing new figures of our favorite characters from every imaginable franchise. This week they announced two new figures from two different Marvel properties, with one being based in the live action Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the other looking like he leapt straight out of the pages of a comic book (or out of the screen of a video game, as is actually the case).
The first new figure showcased by Hot Toys is none other than ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’s Starlord! This new 1:6 scale Starlord figure is based on the heroes appearance in last year’s massive summer blockbuster, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’. It features a stunning headsculpt of actor Chris Pratt, as well as a helmeted head and a half-helmeted head showing the transition as the helmet materializes, two blasters, a gravity bomb, electricty effects, and more! NECA Has A ‘Dark Fate’ Planned
Later this year director and ‘Terminator’ series creator James Cameron is taking us on an all new time travel adventure with ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’! Fans couldn’t be more excited to see Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton back in the roles they originated in the first ‘Terminator’ film and its sequel ‘Terminator 2: Judgement Day’. That seems to include the team at NECA because they’re bringing us new 7″ figures of Sarah Connor and the T-800 based on their new looks from ‘Dark Fate’.
