The King of the Kaiju is ready for his return in ‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters’ and director Mike Dougherty (‘Trick ‘r Treat’,’Krampus’) has shared that the film is now ready for audiences everywhere! These days it isn’t uncommon for post-production to be completed in the weeks before a film is set to be released and it is a fresh of breath air to see the latest “Godzilla” movie is done over six months in advance!
While it is a bit too early for this follow up to the 2014 reboot of the franchise to start showing off more promotional material, one can only hope that this means we’ll be in store for some new teasers or a more extended trailer in the coming weeks.
Dougherty shared the reveal and a new photo with the logo front and center in the Tweet below:
It is done. With love and gratitude to the thousands of talented people all around the world who helped make this lifelong dream a reality. In Godzilla we trust. @GodzillaMovie pic.twitter.com/JnPoqFoXHY

With ‘Godzilla vs. Kong‘ already filming, we’ve been dying to see a bit more from ‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters’ so this is excellent news! Knowing that the King of the Kaiju will be up against Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah in the movie is exciting but that it is already complete is just fantastic news for fans.
Are you looking forward to ‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters’? Do you think that this outing for the franchise will easily surpass what we saw in action from 2014’s ‘Godzilla’? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
Following the global success of “Godzilla” and “Kong: Skull Island” comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ cinematic MonsterVerse, an epic action-adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters’ will be roaring into theaters on May 31st, 2019!
