With the final chapter of Andrew Lincoln‘s Rick Grimes having closed on ‘The Walking Dead’ it is time to look towards the future, and the series is planning to do that by giving us another time jump. When the show returns, we’ll see that another six years have passed and new photos have surfaced from the upcoming episodes which show how many of the major characters have aged during this time period.
The best part of this time jump is that we’ll see Judith having grown up even more and closer to being how old Carl was when The Whisperers become a threat.
First up is a couple of shots of Khary Payton as Ezekiel and Melissa McBride as Carol Peletier. In the first, they look quite thrilled to be next to one another, but in the second it doesn’t look like Carol is thrilled with the situation.
Here we’ve got a great shot of Michonne looking a bit older but still ready for action!
Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan looks to have seen better days in this shot but it is doubtful that he has stopped his scheming.
Norman Reedus is rumored to have received a huge pay day to continue on as Daryl Dixon so I’m sure we can expect a ton of action from the character going forward!
Cailey Fleming’s Judith Grimes looks to be dressing as if she was inspired by what everyone has told her about her potential father and also armed as her adoptive mother tends to be!
Time has passed since Rick’s departure, and the community will have moved on. We’ll have to see how many of them are still keeping the sheriff close to their hearts and guiding their actions.
