Kit Harington has been making the rounds Toronto International Film Festival to help promote Xavier Dolan’s ‘The Death and Life of John F. Donovan’ and still looks an awful lot like Jon Snow. The actor has kept up his facial and longer hair even though HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones‘ has completed filming but you shouldn’t get your hopes up that this would be for a return to the character in a secret spinoff or anything along those lines.
While it is at HBO’s request, Harington has kept the look for a practical reason as the actor shares:
“We just finished filming. You can’t tell because I look exactly the same. They own me; they’ve just kept me like this.”
He said this jokingly of course, but the fact of the matter is he is waiting for production to tell him that no reshoots are required for post-production before changing things up in his personal life.
Outside of that, the actor also added that “When I shave, I look like a tired child.” I’m sure part of it will be from personal preference, and part of the decision will now be as to what Rose Leslie thinks of his look because he’ll know nothing if he doesn’t take his wife’s opinion into potentially changing his look.
An additional fun tidbit is the actor shared one role he’d love to take part in that the casting directors at Warner Brothers might want to zero in on as he did state that, “I always wanted to be in a Potter movie. I always wanted to be Harry Potter.”
While Daniel Radcliffe could never be replaced and it is doubtful that we’ll ever see another “Harry Potter” movie at this point, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is alive and well with the current outing of “Fantastic Beasts” films which are an area that could provide a role for the actor.
