Executive Producer Shawn Levy shares that he thinks of Matt and Ross as his brothers while Millie Bobby Brown doubles down on that sentiment. Finn Wolfhard and David Harbour have also shared praise about the duo.

It should be noted that there were previous complaints about verbal abuse from the duo on set that had surfaced but Netflix found that these were unfounded. Still, it prompted the brothers to release the following statement:

We are deeply upset to learn that someone felt uncomfortable on our set. Due to the high-stress nature of production, tempers occasionally get frayed, and for that, we apologize. However, we think it is important not to mischaracterize our set, where we believe strongly in treating everyone fairly regardless of gender, orientation, race, religion, or anything else. We remain totally committed to providing a safe and collaborative working environment for everyone on our productions.

It is hard to imagine that with such vital members of the cast supporting the duo that anything improper happened, but stranger things have been known to occur on sets.

Do you love how highly the cast and crew think of the Duffer Brothers? Does this kind of working environment help show why ‘Stranger Things’ has been such a success? Share your thoughts below!
