‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse‘ has just revealed that two original cast members from ‘American Horror Story: Murder House’ are returning to the series as Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott are back! It isn’t official that they’ll be reprising their roles from the first season, but it seems highly unlikely that they would be back for any other reason.
For those who need a quick reminder, these two were the married couple of Vivien and Ben Harmon from the first season. Interestingly enough, the couple’s spirits were last seen as trapped in the Murder House. You have to wonder if part of the story will take place in Los Angeles where the house is or if they’ll somehow appear to Vivien’s son, the Antichrist who is set to be an adult and played by Cody Fern (‘The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story’) in the upcoming season.
These two actors will be joining the majority of those who were featured in both ‘American Horror Story: Murder House’ and ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ for this crossover season. As we’ve just seen showrunner Ryan Murphy share a picture of the witches making a new appearance, it shouldn’t be long until the cast from “Murder House” start to get some promotional images popping up as well.
Now you just have to wonder if the Antichrist’s daddy Tate will be showing up. We already know that Evan Peters is set to appear in the upcoming season so it wouldn’t be a stretch to see him reprising his part from “Murder House.”
Are you excited to hear about the return of both Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott for ‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’? Do you think that these two will be playing their characters from ‘American Horror Story: Murder House’ or have new parts to play? Will this open the door for the Rubber Suit Man to make an appearance as well? Share your thoughts below!
