And now for some news from a place about as far away from Comic-Con as possible. London has fallen… to the startling presence of a giant 25-foot, 330-pound statue of Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm reclining with his shirt open. In a recreation of the scene from the 1993 classic ‘Jurassic Park’, “Jurassic Jeff” is serving… sexy (?) beside the Tower Bridge and materialized on Wednesday thanks to Now TV, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Steven Spielberg favorite.
Now TV released this dazzling video to announce their statue’s arrival:
25 years ago, Jurassic Park (and one of the best moments in movie history) was born

Fans have already been posting a brontosaurus’ weight in #jurassicjeff hashtags on Twitter and Instagram and will be able to do so until July 26, so if anyone in the US wants to snap a pic, now’s the time to book your flight. Or just use Photoshop. After all, that’s what everyone uses to turn the original freeze-frame of Goldblum into an endless supply of memes.

This isn’t the first bizarre, sexual towering male celebrity statue to invade London. In 2013, a towering Colin Firth, in a clingy wet shirt appeared waist deep in the Serpentine in Hyde Park, referencing his role as Mr. Darcy in the 1995 TV movie ‘Pride & Prejudice’.

Goldblum can currently be seen reprising the role of Ian Malcolm in ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’. It has taken in $1,134.7M worldwide. Outside of the UK and US, it just had the highest opening ever in Japan and had its run in China extended by one month.
