Chris Evans might soon be on his way out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe if Captain America doesn’t survive the events of ‘Avengers 4,’ but he has a story pitch that could bring back his character one last time! That is, of course, if Disney does end up buying Fox which seems to inching closer to reality. While the big deal out of this would be Marvel Studios getting the rights to all of the mutants and X-Men back again, they’d also be getting the ‘Fantastic Four’ for another outing.
Sure, Marvel’s First Family hasn’t been that well received on the big screen so far but the very first outing was at least passable. In fact, it might have been Evans’ take on the Human Torch which helped him get the role of the First Avenger.
So, WHAT IF, they brought these characters together?
So who do I talk to about a Cap/Human Torch buddy comedy spin-off? I’m thinking Planes, Trains and Automobiles meets Parent Trap. https://t.co/3KRPZOVzq2

A comedy buddy movie where Evans is working with and against Evans sounds like it could be a lot of fun. As this would likely not be the Human Torch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe they could even play this off and create a “What If” brand that tells non-canon stories much how the DCEU is attempting to do with some of their upcoming films like that Joker origin story.
I won’t even try to lie, I think the concept is completely ridiculous and would go to see it in a heartbeat.
Would you love to see Captain America’s seriousness play off of the Human Torch’s selfish and humorous ways or have we already seen enough of this with how Captain America and Iron Man were working together prior to the events in ‘Captain America: Civil War’? Do you think Marvel Studios would even consider such a ‘What If’ spin-off film or set of films? Share your thoughts below True Believers!
