Even though he’ll be the big bad in ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘, Thanos hasn’t gotten a lot of screen time so far. However, what screen time he has gotten has been a little inconsistent. Josh Brolin has already done some of the voice work for The Mad Titan but the latest trailer has, more than anything else, shown how much the villain has already changed for barely actually doing anything that we’ve been able to see so far.

Not convinced? Take a quick look right here:

Ever since being introduced in ‘The Avengers’ his colors have been changing. As the tweet above mentions, he’s not a chameleon! So unless he’s sick and trying to destroy the entire universe to get the Infinity Gauntlet together to fix his strange skin condition and not because he’s after Galactic Domination (or a crush on Mistress Death) then this is hopefully an issue we’ll stop seeing moving forward. With the juggernaut that Disney is, you could see things slip through the cracks but Marvel Studios has usually been able to at least keep their color scheme straight.

I mean, really, pick a single skin tone guys.

The other take is that we are somehow seeing him illuminated in a way which previously we haven’t as the first two shots of Thanos were in a darker setting and maybe the lighting was just funky in the third.

Or, Marvel Studios just couldn’t decide what color purple that they wanted to make him.

Do you think they’ll just gloss over why Thanos is changing color? Will they keep messing with what shade of purple The Mad Titan is if he appears in future Marvel Studios films? Share your thoughts below True Believers!

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ will finally show us what Thanos is made of on May 4th, 2018!
