ant-man and the wasp

We were teased with Evangeline Lilly’s costume as concept art from this year’s San Diego Comic Con and now are finally getting a look at what Evangeline Lilly will be wearing in ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp‘! Hope Van Dyne was already shown to be amazing in the first film even without a super powered outfit and it’ll be fun to see how Lilly handles having powers of her own. This first look obviously isn’t sharing the helmet’s final design but even just seeing her ready was a good tribute to celebrate the late Jack Kirby’s 100th birthday on social media.

You can clearly see the styling similarities that make this go along with Ant-Man’s while still embodying a unique style. The center piece does play well with the name of ‘The Wasp’ as well having an almost insect-like look. It’ll be interesting if the look differs from what we see on Michelle Pfeiffer as the original Wasp. I suspect that it might be armored as well to go in line with the other modernized version of costumes which have been introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
