Sense8

For those who were saddened by the end of ‘Sense8‘ with the show being tragically canceled after two seasons, there is at least some good news! Netflix will stream a two-hour special series finale to wrap things up. The Wachowskis and J. Michael Straczynski have a cult classic on their hand that just didn’t seem as if it was going to finish its story and now has a chance to at least partially do so. The news comes directly from co-creator Lana Wachowski who shared that their work to save the canceled series has at least paid off with “another two-hour special released next year” that will share “what happens to Wolfgang” with the fans who have been clamoring for more.

This is a series which fans have been begging for a continuation on and that Netflix has already flat out said would not happen. At the very least we’re getting another couple of hours to give closure to the series.

It isn’t just the fans and showrunners that have shown their support for the return of the series as some of the actors have as well:

It obviously remains to be seen exactly how much of the story will still be told, but this is fantastic news that we’ll be able to get some form of a conclusion.

Are you happy that we’re getting another 2 hours of ‘Sense8’ from Netflix? Do you think that they caved to viewer pressure or would they have greenlit an end to the story without the viewer backlash? Share your thoughts below!
