It is a week of spoilers, first with Lego toys confirming ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ rumors and now a behind-the-scenes shot from ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘ possibly spoiling one of the ‘Thor: Ragnarok‘ story arcs. It is likely going to be one of the key factors of how Thor reacts through his third outing of a solo movie and thanks to The Russo Brothers’ Instagram account there will be less of an impact if you check out the image below.
Specifically, this scene looks to be in Durham Cathedral where Chris Hemsworth was shooting scenes with a yet-to-be CGI’s Rocket Raccoon stand in.
Warning, potential spoilers below!
We’ve already seen in previews for ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ that Hela destroys Mjolnir, Thor’s hammer. At this time we don’t know what exactly that means for Thor’s fighting in the future but a new set photo for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ seems to show exactly which weapon we’ll see the God of Thunder wielding.
If you had missed the trailer I mentioned above, here is the key scene that I’m referencing:
With that in mind, here is the spoiler image that The Russo Brothers had revealed:
It looks like Thor will still be worthy to handle Mjolnir and that the hammer will be back. We’re unsure if he’ll get it back at the end of ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ or if it’ll be back during the events of ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ but it does seem that Thor will have his favorite weapon once more unless this is from a flashback scene of some sort.
Are you happy to see that the destruction of Mjolnir isn’t permanent in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ or is this not too surprising of a spoiler? How and when do you think Thor will get his hammer back? Share your thoughts below True Believers!
